colonial charm, beautiful common areas, charming bathrooms
Accessing the balcony with the desk blocking the door is awkward!!! The rooms facing the street attract quite a bit of noise, maybe they could provide earplugs for those guests!!!

Staying at Amarla Boutique Hotel was wonderful. I fell in love with the rooftop. It offered stunning views and was perfect for breakfast. The staff genuinely stood out. They resolved an air conditioning issue quickly and even woke us up for our early transfer! I appreciated the extensive breakfast options. Fresh fruits, pastries, and local highlights were superb. My room had beautiful decorations and was surprisingly quiet, allowing for a restful stay. However, I encountered a problem with the hot water in the shower during my stay. It often ran lukewarm, which was disappointing. Yet, the room was clean and comfortable, making it somewhat bearable. They offered great A/C and big pillows that added a touch of luxury. Firmer pillows would be nice for some, though. Overall, it felt cozy and welcoming, and I'd happily return despite the hot water issue.
